Abhinav Mishra

Hi, I'm Abhinav, an Engineer based in Maharashtra, India.

I currently work in the Business Excellence domain within the chemical manufacturing sector. Over the years, I have also worked in the Production and Process Engineering functions, which has given me exposure to both day-to-day plant operations and process improvement initiatives.

I graduated from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala, and am currently pursuing an ESG certification through SCDL, India.

What I Work On

My professional interests lie at the intersection of manufacturing, data, and continuous improvement.

I enjoy finding practical ways to improve industrial operations using data that is often already available but underutilized. I find it fascinating how simple analysis can uncover opportunities for better decision-making.

Outside Work

Away from work, I spend my time exploring a variety of unrelated interests.

I play a few musical instruments, occasionally write on my blog, follow sports far more closely than I probably should, and occasionally revisit video games that I should have probably outgrown by now.

I have also been a quizzing enthusiast since school and had the opportunity to compete at the national level during my student years.

Curiosity Department

I have a tendency to disappear into rabbit holes on topics that catch my attention.

One week it might be related to my job. The next week it could be something completely unrelated like history, pop culture, or random stats.
